Call for Abstracts

The Scientific Committee of 1st PNDS International Conference on Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs) invites you to submit your research abstracts. It is a great opportunity for nutritionists, dietitians, food scientists, public health professionals, clinicians and other health service providers to come forward and share their valuable research findings and advancements related to non-communicable diseases. The event is an effort to unite scientists, researchers, nutritionists, dietitians, scholars, academia and professionals all around the globe to share and impart recent research and knowledge in relation to NCDs.  Abstracts will be selected for oral or poster presentation by the scientific committee. Research abstracts should be based on the following themes in context of NCDs:

  • Obesity
  • Hypertension
  • Diabetes (Type I, Type II, Gestational Diabetes)
  • Cardio metabolic diseases
  • Respiratory Diseases
  • Renal Diseases
  • Gastrointestinal diseases (Liver Diseases)
  • Cancer
  • Mental Health & NCDs
  • Micronutrient deficiencies and NCDs
  • Gender difference in NCDs
  • Functional foods & NCDs
  • Bio-fortification & NCDs
  • Nutrition sensitive agriculture including GMOs in NCDs
  • Policies, strategies, operational plans and key developments to tackle NCDs
  • Recent trends to overcome NCDs
  • Latest Trends & Policies to tackle diet related Non communicable diseases
  • Fortification, Supplementation & Enrichment- Advances to combat NCDs

Modes Of Presentation:

Accepted abstracts will be selected for Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation

 

Guidelines for Abstract Submission (Abstract will not be reviewed if it is not submitted as per format/guidelines given below)

  • Authors of abstract should confirm that the work is unpublished and novel research.
  • Multiple abstracts can be submitted by the same presenting author but must address different research/ topics.
  • All abstracts must be submitted in English language with accurate grammar and spelling suitable for publication
  • Abstracts should include the following components:

Background

Methodology

Results and Findings (main results only)

Conclusions

  • The abstract should not exceed more than 300 words (excluding title and list of authors)
  •  Author information should include the following:

o   First name & Last name

o   Affiliation (Institute/Company name, city and country name)

o   Contact details (email and telephone number) of corresponding author only

  • Do not include any citation or reference in the abstract
