WorkShop on Counseling Skills (24th October 2009)
Based on the findings by P.A.N.A.P. (Program for Accreditation of Nutritional Activities in Pakistan) an interactive workshop was organized on “COUNSELING TECHNIQUES”.The workshop covered the theoretical basis for the nutrition counseling process using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,Nutritional application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in the counseling process & hands on application of the learning using case studies.Nutritional Counseling by Dr. Salma
Writting Skills Workshop (March-April 2012)
Another series of workshop was organized in March-April 20012 including 3 sessions spread over a period of 8 weeks in order to develop & enhance the writing skills of PNDS members.19 participants were selected, each participant was assigned a mentor ,13 complete articles were evaluated,hands on experience on end note X5,use of track changes &Microsoft Office tools were taught that facilitate writing.
